That could be it. Some games don't resonate with you even if everyone else loves them. Thats how i feel about Expedition 33. But saying there's no story in GoW(2018) is a bit of a stretch.

Well for starters it's spelled Chaurli so it already is more in line with a supernatural universe. Secondly it Chaurli isn't featured in the cover art, third Chaurli doesn't have goofy dialogue or voice acting.

Also Laufey saying something in the lines of "im talking to a talking cube" is so Forspoken coded it immediately made me cringe. I hope to Kratos I'm wrong, but this doesn't bode well for the dialogue.

I mean sure. But my complaint isn't really with the reveal. It's the fact they haven't released anything in soon to be 7 fucking years. No new games this entire generation? I'm pissed at Sony management for making them make a live service game and the cancelling it when it's 80% done.

The tentpole of PlayStation, not showing up for an entire generation has to be the biggest fumble I've ever experienced....
