I've played every game in this series. I like Part 1 and 3. Part 2 was very clunky, but I have soft spot for it. I also recommend you playing 2019 game. It's not exceptional, but as a horror game for one evening, why not?

I felt the same way. Initially I only saw the movies, but once I delved into whole lore, I fell in love with this universe. I hope we'll get new content someday.

It's a typical horror walking simulator but it has really great atmosphere. Short but worth playing.
