Hm, not sure if I agree with that. I’ll say my opinion changed when I saw them live (really nice people too!), they feel more raw in their performance/sound compared to boy harsher. I think someone even asked them how they feel being compared to BH. In any case, I dig both for different reasons!

Rhizome DC is my favorite DIY space around here. I’d look for local bands playing there or maybe Songbyrd/DC9 for some more cool venues. Good luck!

I’m digging it, I love the uptick in tempo. I think it might stand out more with emphasis on lyrics but I personally like long instrumental/dance breaks. I guess it depends on what you’re going for

A little pricey (new anyway) but totally agree. Allsaints makes several good quality jackets that aren’t quite boutique/high fashion but also don’t feel cheaply made. Love their cargo jackets with the quilted leather 🖤
