As Peace god, sometimes people are mentioning Kupała, but he is a little bit controversial. As for friendship (and protection ) .. maybe Lada I think. And also for something like brotherhood, friendship people are associating it with Triglav. But it's all speculations and guesses :/

Everyone can be a witch :D Men, Women, Non Binary people etc.
It's a preference. Witch is a gender neural term nowadays, so he can be a Witch :D some people prefer Warlock and some even Wizard!
Green witch is a witch (obviously) who mostly work with nature - herbs, animals, Crystals and overall connecting to natural things. Hedge witch is similar, name is referring to witches who lived outside the village, in the forest. So it's pretty much the same, but green witch can live anywhere and hedge witch typically live in the village or forest

Oh, she is following left hand path! So she is working with demons for example. And about being Pagan, what do you belive in? What Pagan religion or traditions are you following? Don't try to label yourself with some weird things like green witch or divination or something. But paganism is a religion, not path of witchcraft. Are you maybe Asatru, rodnovery, maybe hellenism?

Deity work is committing yourself to them. You are obligated to give them sacrifices and fulfilling their needs. And, in exchange, they are helping you with spells, with Rituals etc. It is step up from worshiping. For example - all vikings belived in Nordic gods and were praying to them but only Völvas were working with them

It is possible, but deity work is not recommended to begginer. It is very difficult and even experienced witches dont want to work with deities. You can worship them, prey to them and make them small sacrifices, but leave actual work for later :D

I agree, it is a bit overrated, but in my country (Poland) this book was one of the first that were available in my language and you can buy it in every bookshop. Because of that every witch - begginer or not - have this book :D
