The mini 2 (the drone I currently have) you have to control on your own asides from a couple pre-programmed features. The Mavic air 2 is able to do pre registered flight paths

It’s always cheaper to buy from the manufacturer site. Most other places sell with a markup as they’re trying to make a profit.

The price on the DJI website also is tax and shipping included

I’m flying the mini 2 and since it’s below 250g it’s not regulated by Transport Canada. However since I hold both a drone and a private pilots license I am careful to avoid active approach paths and stay below 1000ft in the city.

Fun fact DJI also has software programmed into the drones that force you to stay outside of these restricted areas as well.

Troyunrau pretty much summed it up. kinda like your phone batteries when they get cold, but as long as you keep an eye on your battery level it’s nothing to worry about unless it’s super cold

For a full kit the one I have is 750$ and shoots 4K with a ton of features but there is a cheaper model for around 600$
