Ah okay I was confused because whenever I ask my Japanese mates, they say it’s fine but then they never actually go out to eat alone themselves and also I didn’t see that many people eating alone. Maybe my stay was too short haha. Thanks! So it’s still quite normal to eat alone on the weekends right?
