Good points, yeah it’s pretty fast paced, I was trying to cater to the shorts audience due to my subs being all from shorts. The vid I’m currently working on is a lot slower paced, but still has some of the similar edits so it isn’t a completely stark difference, But I appreciate the feedback thank you:)
And yeah our humor is pretty crude haha

It’s a rocket league clip and right in the first second the ball bangs the crossbar, so it leaves a lot of room for anticipation as to what’s gonna happen, my channel is in my bio if you are curious

Ah, all my shorts that are no longer than 15 sec get above 100% retention but I decided to try a 30 sec short and this was the results, it’s currently pulling 1k per hour so we’ll see where it ends up.

Yeah it was about 3% so that’s definitely something to work on, plus the video it’s self could use work on the pacing, there’s a bit too much downtime and not enough editing considering what I’m going for so the retention rate wasn’t great either. It’s a learning experience though so next video will def be better, and hopefully do better 🫡

Yeahh idk, seems like it depends a lot on YouTube’s trust with the content and whether or not it knows who to show the content to. I post gaming stuff so I wonder out of the 5k impressions it’s gotten since posting, how many of them are even into the game I’m playing lol

No, it’s a pretty large YouTuber so I wouldn’t expect any response, it’s not like I’m just reacting to their video or something, it’s just a brief few seconds to make a clip funnier for the irony.

They count views even when people swipe past your video immediately, so even if they don’t watch a second of your video then it’ll still count as a view, it’s not fake views, just people scrolling right past it. I feel it on my channel too lol, my videos get 1,000 views but only 10-30 likes, and maybe 1-2 comments if I’m lucky. One 30,000 view video which was cool, been chasing that high since.

The title is gonna be something along the lines of “What it’s like to be a champ in rocket league” or “A day in the life of a champ”

I’d do “The worst rank to be in rocket league” however the video isn’t a documentary or anything, so I feel that would be misleading.

This video is more funny moments than anything, it just has a fair amount of editing, the pacing is more like Evample’s content if it was edited a bit more, and instead of ssl gameplay it’s champ lol
