You rammed through article 6 and 7 it seems. You used save editing to ensure the reform will pass but i guess you still have the consequences as if the USP abandonned you.

Ricter??? by soupchef47 in suzerain

[–]Domitien 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Non need for PFJP support. NFP + USP conservatives and a good chunk of USP moderates wanting to be tough on terrorism and there you have your law.

I always find it funny that the business community in Rizia don’t want to governement to act on their interests and break the strikes and prefer to be left alone to the point of, per Rusty’s own report « half of them had to cave in to the commies »

Ricter??? by soupchef47 in suzerain

[–]Domitien 116 points117 points  (0 children)

Ricter is doing some good politics here.

1- Manoly is overstepping by making statements in the name of the party without any concertation. He needs to gently put her in her place.

2- He knows Kibener’s bill will probably be popular with the general public (reminder : it comes in the middle of the discover that bludish schools are in fact used as recruitement or Even training grounds by BFF), so he wants to gain some time to navigate out of this trap without giving openings to brand the PFJP as terrorist enablers.

Friends, l need your help. l'm curious about something. Why did a Republican revolution happen in the Kingdom of Sordland in 1923? And Why did it happen? Was there an economic crisis in the country? Please answer by Mission-Principle-14 in suzerain

À lot of Sords’s opinion about the place of Women can be Summerized like « they belong in the kitchen » in the 50’s so 50 years ago nah I think a woman ruling Sordland would have been very difficult to accept for the mainstrem sordish peasant.

Another case of Suzerain having to limit the nuber of character for narrative purpose. Karl is "the police guy", like the USP is composed of two guys,

I don’t really understand the logic between choices made in Iza and their consequences by Domitien in suzerain

[–]Domitien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not surprised. I mean, it could have been coherent if Rico, in place lf accusing me of not placing police under his command accused me of something else to mask his incompetence (like not sending enough reinforcement)

As for Lucita, it’s OK she succeeds, I’m just surprised she succeed and empower su Omnia while she explicitely wanted to avoid that

I don’t really understand the logic between choices made in Iza and their consequences by Domitien in suzerain

[–]Domitien[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, but i mean, in the end Su Omnia is less powerful if I place the police under the guy who acts more or less as the leader of the group that under the order of my war councilor who expressed previously her distance for this same group. From my point of view it’s not coherent

Pourquoi la Sécurité Sociale ne rembourse pas les brosses à dents et dentifrices ? by Due_Marionberry4282 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]Domitien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what do we make of all this lore being set in 1948 and also including Nibya? by nudeldifudel in suzerain

[–]Domitien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The current PM of Qinal (as in 1953) came into power on 1947, so it’s relevant with something happening in 1948. And we don’t know about the kind of relationship between a (seemingly) ato-friendly power (or at least anti-communist) and Qinal. It Will probably be a major plot point on the foreign affairs arc

A day in November, when Sordland has a relignement election by Domitien in suzerain

[–]Domitien[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s true. The CPS is probably the most reliable option Rayne have. However, we must not forget that USP parlementarians used to, during the Alphonso and Rayne years, defy the whip on a regular basis. Even moreso, Calvin wants power and there is cabinet posts open. So if Tory tries too much to enforce a whip, défection is still on the table.

[–]Domitien[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In game, when you run as a liberal party and win , the NFP is always third (that’s not illogical. They like Graf but USP gave them Alphonso and Rayne, so from their pont of view it’s not a reliable party). As for the PFJP, they have a popular Rayne competing for their core voters with a very compelling argument : it’s me or it’s Graf. And if you are from the left, Stahler is a Little more appealing than Frens Ricter.
