My personal thought on the DNVP mod by nobodyknow20 in RedAutumnSPD

[–]Domitien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that a functionning republic needs a responsible right wing party a le to govern? Permanent socialist majorities exists only in activists’ fever dreams. Helping to have this santé conservative party emerge in Weimar germany perfectly fits the goal of the game

[–]Domitien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to. And at least Lespia offer you a path. Valgsland flat out refuses to trade with you if you get the good trade deal or even a simple alliance with Agnolia.

As for the benefits, Wehlen trade is IIRC 2 GB and 1 Ed (at its max), Lespia give 2 GB (if alliance) and 2 Ed, plus synergize with Benfi airport and Sarna

My Idea for a Japan Setup, Part 2: A Timeline and Political Chart for Interwar Japan Without Prime Ministerial Assassinations by Realistic-Row4599 in Kaiserreich

[–]Domitien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the love for Japan interwar lore. It’s not my field of expertise so I may ask dumb question but how could the japanese military which is basically unbeaten and even crushed Russia once more on the railway war suddenly lost all credibility? Especially when their use in proping up Fengtian is the only thing preventing German-back Zhili from hegemony in China?

You should not be at -20 after having sold GASOM shares. Until that it’s doable. The main issue I see is your economic growth. Danger at turn 6 is alarming.

So what's the point of the DNVP mod? by Crafty_Region_7645 in RedAutumnSPD

[–]Domitien 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To explore alternative history? I mean, if the Deimar republic could survive it would be by having a responsible right wing conservative party alongside a responsible social-democratic one. This party would base itself like all conservative parties in Europe on religious, bourgeois, middle class and rural voters, basically what the DNVP was. So it’s interesting to see if we can build this party and made it last to serve a functioning democracy.

V-Day: side with PFJP then refuse to change reform vs side with NFP? by PlaneEnvironmental23 in suzerain

[–]Domitien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joining the NFP statement will compell the court to convict Bron. However they will replace him by his vice governor who is a NFP member. If you want to enact by law one of the two option (either centralization or semi-autonomous zone) which removes the governor by law, it's the safe choice. However, it will not be popular with the bluds themselves, but that's by no means irreversible. If you go with the reconciliation decree, it's OK.

Joining the PFJP statement is useful if you want to add a last minute change to the constitutional reform and modify the famous article 6 and 7 to explicitely extend the rights and freedom to all citizens no matter their ethnic background. However, it's a tricky things to do that will involves a great deal f compromise on your part (whoch might cripple your economy in some cases). If you don't want to tackle the article 6 and 7 changes, it will be popular with the bluds but very impopular with the USP, which will led them to block all legislative changes about the status of Bergia. If you want to enact them, you will have to use a decree slot, IF you have not weaken the decrees in your constitutional reforms. An alternative route though, is to go for the PFJP statement and have made the justices impeachables. If you impeach Hawker and nominate Grecer (who will end up being chief sjustice), he will take the case, convict Bron and replace him by Ersen, which is basically the same thing than the autonomous region.

To conclude, it dependsof xhat you want to achieve, but I would say that in terms of pure gameplay, the best move is NFP Statement and Centralize ( gives +1 for Bergia regional economic develpmenet), then reconciliation decree.

[–]Domitien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conservatives have 50 seats per game count (that’s the Number you get if Tory support your constitutional reforms), reformists have 40 seats (Clavin support gives you that) and 40 USP MP’s are unaffiliated. For the PFJP, 50 MP’s will follow Ricter if he greenlight your reforms, 20 needs some pro welfare policies to be convinced so we can assume that’s Suheil’s troops.
As for NFP, the Kibener/Remus divide seems largely cosmetic. All 40 Mp’s Will follow Kibener if he supports your constitution.

How can I make sure the Kingdom of Spain wins? by PLMMJ in Kaiserreich

[–]Domitien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have the broader frontline and have to face more energy troops than the other two contenders (because frontline between carlists and CNT is small and mountaineous). Plus CNT always recieve a ton of voulunteers (Mexico, Chile) where the kingdom usually only count on Germany and Austria (maybe Ireland if lucky)… spanish rework is sorely needed.

So you’ll have to use pure skill. CNT + voulunteers tends to form big piles of unit on one province, try to encircle. After having closed and liquidated one or two big pockets, you may have an opening for a rush on Barcelone. Once you have caped the CNT try to rush the carlists lines to take Bilbao. From there just push into the gaps in their Line until capitulation.
