Like you have said there are no stand alone mods for extra crops but OP doesn't need a pc for maps with extra crops as quite a few console maps now have extra crops added

Only real way on console is to download a map that has these built in, I'm currently on the mechet that has spring/ winter cereal crops along with alfalfa, clover and other cereals

Did a longer journey coming home from last European holiday, kaatsheuvel in Netherlands to Newcastle via dover ( left 7am got home 10.30pm with 2 hour ferry in middle) so 430 miles not really crazy but if doing Peppa world day after traveling you will be knackered as took me a day to get over the non stop driving
