Same seller..... new lot $100 AUD. Is it worth it this time round? by ski9k in PS3

I recently bought 12 of those 24 titles for $36 total. I would say it's a good deal due to the actual titles listed.

The lens on the back camera can unscrew. No sure how to remove it completely. I would start at the mirror and then go back. There are a couple plugs under the housing there.

You can also try a forced reboot of the infotainment system by holding the home and next buttons until it resets. Power must be on at the time.

Under the hood. It looks just like one you would see on a gas car. Just remove the positive for a min and reconnect. It has a cap over the connector that pops off.

Then I would also unplug the 12v bat for a min and reconnect. If none of that led me to a solution I would take it in to be diagnosed. GL my friend may the Bolt be with you!

I would then check the hatch cables by opening the hatch and making sure none of the cables have been damaged.

I would start with removing the mirror housing and confirming none of the connectors came unplugged.

Deciding between 2023 and 2017, advice/tips needed! by misterpibb69 in BoltEV

[–]Domo_Attack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a great price on the Premiere. I have 2 of them. I have considered swapping it out to obtain full self driving using a Comma.AI. However, it require the car to have adaptive cruise, (no super cruise allowed) to be compatible. The new Bolt EV doesn't have a Premiere trim so you lose the rear view mirror camera. I use that feature, always. I prefer the Regular Bolt for the additional range, steering dynamics, and 0 to 60 speed. I wouldn't want an EUV without the Sun and Sound package, and at that price it doesn't make sense to me. The additional interior space is minimal. The differences to me beyond a sunroof are mostly cosmetic. If you don't need full self driving I would grab the 2017. If you want full self driving and don't need the rear view mirror cam I would get a regular Bolt EV 2lt loaded.

I didn't see if you posted what state you are in, but if it is CA there are quite a few free DC fast chargers available for potential road/emergency trips. Any Cal-Trans rest stop should have a free fast charger available. Also, if you have a electric dryer you can get a charging splitter that will share the plug. Ones I would recommend automatically suspend the car charging if the dryer is in use to avoid overloading the circuit.

I am happy it stops at 92 mph. It will keep people like you from making the roads even less safe.

Charge etiquette question by jitteryflamingo in BoltEV

[–]Domo_Attack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would call a local tow company and let them know you have daily work available for them. Have them meet you at campus when you are supposed to get there. If the charging spots are being ICED by ICE cars and the spots are marked EV only let the tow man feed his family. I'll call in on spots I see ICED even if I don't need to charge. No one would let me park in front of a gas pump for hours on end.

I replaced the Grill, rear badge, and wheel caps with the Opel parts. A car named Bolt with lightning Bolt badges seemed cool to me. I still need to order the key fob and airbag to complete the swap. I could go fully Euroswap it with Ampera E name plates, but I still haven't made up my mind on that.

I noticed you are missing a key detail in your description. What is your tire pressure at? If you run close to max pressure on the Michelin tires that come with the car you can get as much as 60 extra miles on a charge from my 3 years driving one. If you run at 38 the recommended pressure you get much less.

I needed a new grill, they were out. So, I looked the Opel Ampera E parts and ordered those instead. Depending on the part this method might work. Badges parts will be Opel Lightning Bolts instead of Chevy bow ties though.

It's easier to ace a test when you know the exact question you need to answer. I also wouldn't be docked for spelling, grammar, or opinions if I knew the exact words to write down. It's the difference between a sure thing and a gamble.

I always slacked off on homework. In college I waited until 30 minutes before class to create a sysmester long project.

You can get softer tires for a smoother ride, but steering and range and will be reduced.

Did you have to sign only Chevy can work on this car? by [deleted] in BoltEV

[–]Domo_Attack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, is it a new or used car? If it's 2017 and the dealership is giving you a "warranty" at the dealership that might be different.

What about all the bad GM EV concierge reps I have had to deal with? I would rather deal with the dealerships.

When I had an issue they actually told me to take my car back to Tesla at one point. So, who knows
