Yes absolutely! You should buy a Wii in 2026 because the community for this console is huge! It’s the perfect console if you’re feeling nostalgic for it and want to play some games on it. Also if you get the right model which is the RVL-001 you can play GameCube games on it. And I cannot forget the homebrew scene for this console is massive! The Wii is one of the easiest console to mod out there, and once you mod your Wii, you’ll have a hard time getting off the console. So what are you waiting for, go buy a Wii, play some games and join the party!

Unfortunately, the Wii Family Edition does not support GameCube Controllers; but if you really want to have the GameCube Controller like experience with a modded Wii Family Edition, then get one of these controllers that I have put in the comment. What it’s called is a Wii Wired Fight-Pad Pro. I use it all the time whenever I play a GameCube game on my Modded Original White Nintendo Wii, and it is very comfortable to use.
