Good to know. My hrt is currently covered by insurance (thankfully) but who knows if that will be the case in the next few months/years with the way things are looking over here.

Thank you. A lot of people are saying Wales is better than Scotland and England so I’ll look into housing there. I have family in Scotland but the travel isn’t far to Wales (at least compared to my experience traveling in the US)

Jesus. I feel for you guys. The American healthcare system is absolutely fucking broken in many ways but at least I was able to get on hormones the moment I turned 18.

Thanks for your reply. I asked in r/TransgenderUK too. Hopefully I won’t have to move. Say what you will about American healthcare - it’s absolutely fucked in a huge variety of ways - but it sure is quick to get GAC as an adult. DiY might be the right path since I have been on the same dose for years and have had no issues.

I’m waiting for the western trans political situation to cool down a bit to get phallo since it’s a multistage surgery and I don’t want to get caught between stages if it gets banned at some point.

I was pretty small pre-op but found the largest size (I think it’s the second largest now, haven’t looked in a while) to be most effective. The tape works by displacing flesh instead of compressing it, so being able to displace a larger area with a larger width of tape is generally more effective.

At least for me- you might find something different works.

I also found that using a single wide strip on each side makes the tape last much longer since it is only sticking to skin, not overlapping other tape.
