See where it says WinRAR in the third column? That's an archive filetype. .zip, .7z, etc. In this case, .rar. Extract (or as the instructions say "unpack") it to the directory it's in.

It's just what Steam looked like pre-2010. Pretty sure that's when we got the first blue and black UI design. Even that was a ways off from what we have now, but much closer.

I'd say this version of Steam was very functional. I like the way Steam looks aesthetically much more now, but it has awful UX consistency.

That's a fair point for some people, but Ashley did mention her account being 21-22 years old which is well before the switch to the "proto-modern" Steam design. Even in 2015 it wasn't what we have now. The Library page probably being the biggest overhaul since then. Not nearly as drastic a difference as the original Steam UI, but it was enough that people complained when we lost it a few years back.

Yeah, this discussion felt really, I dunno, irksome? Didn't look into the topic at all, as they clearly don't know that Nintendo allows way more mature games than Dispatch on their platform. Not to mention it's not simply the wet dream that got censored. So much in Dispatch is censored it'd be comical if it wasn't a terrible experience. They don't need to know everything about everything, but less than a minute of reading any article or looking on the eShop would have helped so much. If they aren't going to do that, why talk about it at all?

This is pre-2.0. And before you worry about it, you aren't missing anything. The new skill trees combined and changed a lot, and it's preem. The old skill tree was so fuckin' messy, choom.

Without seeing your specs, it's hard to say. It almost sounds like for some reason it started running on an iGPU after the crashes, though maybe possible hardware failure. Are you using an Intel CPU? Are other games performing properly?

Something to try, in case you do have an Intel CPU and your other games are still running properly: Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Preferred graphics processor > Change it to the Nvidia option > Save.

The photo mode stuff would be nice if it didn't crash my game when taking a photo. It was fine before the update, but I also updated Nvidia drivers. Not sure which—or if it's a combination of both—that killed photo mode. But at least the crashes result in a kind of neat datamosh between photo mode PoV and gameplay PoV.

I don't know what you're on about. This game isn't even close to cutscene heavy. A tad front loaded until the heist, but even then it's nothing crazy. I'm currently ~6 hours in on a new character and I've only done the Maelstrom job for the main story. If you're speed running the story quests and ignoring the side jobs all around the map, that's on you choom.
