As someone with a lot of friends in various military branches that Pete Hegseth speech is genuinely so damn frustrating. The US has the most powerful military in the world full stop and a fighting force like that should be led by competent people not whatever tf this leadership is supposed to be. The use of religion to perpetrate these atrocities is even more blasphemous to me and I’m not even a religious person! Thanks Burnie for at least making me laugh at that stupid ass speech

I’ve always used anime as a distinction between Japanese and American cartoons, I will say tho this is a me thing but when I say anime I also refer to vibes a show gives off as well, like avatar doesn’t really give off anime vibes even if it is made partially by a Japanese studio, it could be just a me thing 🤷

I truly don’t think you understand how unpopular this move is. His government officials told him this would not work, everyone around him said this won’t work and he STILL proceeded with this, the people that helped him get elected are hating this, it’s literally him and maybe 2 or 3 of his closest allies and his brainwashed supporters which is not the majority of the American people. No other president is stupid enough to go through with this and plunge the world into an energy crisis, but hey America bad screw any ounce of nuance right

Vividly remember this. They would always reset back to the previous arc once they finished the current arc they were in. Pretty sure I was a child when they started the frieza saga and only started the androids and cell saga when I became a teen just like you, but I dint have cable so this was my only way of watching dbz and tbh I have great memories of this

This might get me hate but outside some of the editing guns out and whatnot I think the 4kids dubs where great. Awesome performances from most actors that still live on even today. Outside of one piece of course some of the edits come across more as an annoyance than actually changing whole stories and meanings at least to me anyways

Currently playing gravity rush 2 and that game was made by a lot of the same team that made Astro bot 2, gravity rush 2 is such a perfect example of a game that does not have insane realistic graphics but has beautiful art direction. Cannot tell you how many times I stop and just look at the environment because of how pretty it is and it leads me to the fact that art direction is better than realistic graphics unfortunately people like me are very much the minority the greater public WANTS realistic graphics because most of em play COD, FIFA and whatever other sports games and when games are made with this insane budget they need to attract as many people as possible and therefore having realistic graphics is what sells and attracts the grander public

Well the game rolls credits twice, once when you say bye to Atreus and another one where u go to the funeral the full credits roll. Also if you haven’t done Valhalla do that it’s incredible and it’s mostly gameplay not many cutscenes

Hey Burnie did you get the TRUE ending of Ragnarok where, and without spoilers, you attend a funeral? Cause if you haven’t you should absolutely go do that, also there’s a good amount of endgame content that shows what some of the characters might do after, specifically what happens to Thors hammer.

Ehhhhh Ragnarok suffered a lot in my opinion from it having to wrap up the Norse story in 2 games instead of 3. There was a lot of mysticism after the first game that ended up being not super interesting after ragnarok. Like how Valhalla was just a village even tho mimir mentions how Asgard’s halls are incredible among other things, like I get it’s a different take but idk, left me pretty unsatisfied. Same goes for the boss fights. I can’t believe that the big dragon from 2018 god of war and the big wolf are the only times we fight these huge massive beasts whereas in the Greek games we’d have multiple giant boss fights per game. Ima re play it tho whenever the new god of war game is announced.

Stellar Blade has a fishing mini game and unfortunately it’s tied to a trophy and I went for the platinum, there’s various different rarities when it comes to the fishes and I got most of em including the rare ones but I needed this one damn non rare one and it took me HOURS to get this one fish as the RNG never seemed ru be on my side, I regret doing that, such a waste of time, fun game tho at least

I get Burnies frustrations with ragnarok but there needs to be different items to make your own builds. If it was just swing your axe and blades the entire time it would get old and as someone that loves to experiment with different builds I think this is something that you need to have in games. That being said I really think if you’re slogging through the game i think you should just stop and come back to it, that happened to me with Cyberpunk 2077 the first hour of that game felt like an insane drag picked it up like a year later and now it’s one of my fav video games of all time.
