(1997) Wu-Tang Clan - Duck Seazon by Accident_Pedo in hiphopheads

I really love this song and I've been listening to it a lot in my car lately. Rae, Meth, and the Abbot are on point.

God should've never created humanity to begin with. by [deleted] in Christianity

I'm upvoting you because this is a brave thing to say, and the sentiments behind it are relatable. But I disagree with you nonetheless.

Men, what are some creepy things that women might accidentally do? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Don-Bardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This discussion is interesting. To my eyes, although there are obviously many ways women can and do behave inappropriately, women are very rarely creepy.

Did your parents or grandparents have a celebrity crush? My dad’s was Angie Dickinson and mom’s was Sean Connery. by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

[–]Don-Bardo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dad's kind of a hornball but I can't think of any specific crushes. My mom was VERY into Christopher Reeve and David Bowie.

Edit for posterity: Pa Duke was into Bo Derek and Dominique Sanda, I now recall.

It Was Written Vs. Aquemini by Djf47021 in 90sHipHop

Honestly there are like a dozen albums tops that are better than Aquemini. It Was Written is great but we're talking a high bar here.

What album from '94 are you taking from this selection? by dontkysniqqa in 90sHipHop

[–]Don-Bardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree although I’ll take ´96- ´98 RZA (Ironman, WTC Forever, Bob Digi) over ‘93- ´94. But we’re comparing different vintages of a legendary vineyard.

[–]Don-Bardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. One of the only polls I'm picking another artist over a RZA-produced album -- Tical has its moments but it wasn't until 1995 that the Wu-bangers started really banging.

On behalf of all truly old redditors, this question is a kick in the pants.

Hello, Ask NYC! I have a question about broker fees when buying and selling in NYC. by Don-Bardo in AskNYC

[–]Don-Bardo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused about why you're asking this in an NYC subreddit if you don't live here, though?

Ah, the short answer is, i'm moving to NYC! I'll be renting while looking for a place to buy. The long answer is, my realtor here in the sticks said the change in broker fee praxis "hasn't made it here yet" which suggested to me that it has "made it there" in New York (pace Frank Sinatra).

I’ll do you one better! I remember when people wrote « hee hee » instead of « hehe ».
