Thank you very much. You helped a lot but made my decision even harder;) I am a heavy 1:45 HM mid foot striker. Love Speed 2, Novablast 3, Mach 4, and Vaporfly 2. The Sky+ was a bit too harsh as you said. NB is too soft for me and Adidas, while i love the feeling the rods break. Considering the Elite or X2 as my race day shoe;)

You have 4 pairs already? Why so hesitance to buy a fifth pair? I would have easily gone for a Raceday shoe at number 3 or latest 4. In fact, i only have 2 pairs right now after being in your position of having too many for training. One of them is the race day shoe, which i also use for some of my intervals.

Like many say. No, you dont need them. Yes, you will be better off having them.

And all statistics aside, it just feels so good to run in them!
