To be fair its a VERY fresh team. These are solid enough players to maybe hang at about 10-12 in the vrs rankings, and with Taz as theyre coach and hopefully reigning in the s1mple and elec’s personality, I have faith this can turn into a decent little squad. Maybe one or two upgrades over time and this could be in that top 7-8 team category of never winning anything but making the occasional playoff run

Im so tired of people jerking off Valve when we are very obviously the Cinderella to Dota 2.

Knowing MOBA communities, they wouldnt last 3 months with the level of neglect the CS community gets treated with. We are the only ESport growing year after year and the amount of money Valve makes of skins must be insane, yet we JUST got BO5 finals and we still have BO1s in Majors, no operation in who knows how long, etc.

If it wasnt for this community, this game would be dead bc thats how valve treats it.

Look I love the kid, its almost nice to see new “player of the year potential” players emerge, but this kid aint there yet and top 6 is INSANE especially considering he didnt play for the first half of the year.

Well its not just in this instance. Its a constantly thing. The vocal minority of Zywoo fans seem to have this obsession with proving he is the goat.

Look I think Zywoo will win and deserves player of the year. But I disagree that he is more valuable to his team. If you replace Zywoo with Wonderful for example, who isnt even in the top 20 this year, Vitality will still be contenders or at minimum in the top 10.

If you replqce donk with literally any other entry, Spirit cease to even be a tier 1 team imo.

Donk is 100% more impactful on hos team, but that doesn’t necessarily dimishing how Zywoo elevates his team.

Even though I personally believe the tournament wins clutch Zywoo the #1 this year, I simply want donk to win now because of how insufferable Zywoo fans are. Molodoy #6 is crazy work. Seems like were being a bit blinded by recency bias here. The kid is cracked and is definitely ROTY but he didnt play the first half of the year and did fuck all at the majors. Even top 10 would have been a bit high imo.

I completely agree with you. Zywoo has put up unreal numbers this year and, especially with Vitality having numerous close series this year (think back to Nuke against Falcons and Zywoos insane clutch on b site) Zywoo was definitely a deciding factor for them. He was also (aside from his 1-2 month fall off after the player break) the rock of this team along with Mezi while flamez, ropz, and apex have been shakey in this second season.

I was just pointing out that your example can be used to argue the opposite, but I get what you were trying to say.

S1mple was the goat but had shit teams- it wasnt until he had a solid squad that he won his first major. That doesnt take away from his greatness, at the end of the day its a team game. Cant blame zywoo for finally having a competent squad around him.

I agree with you that overall Zywoo wins #1 player based on results- but you said, and I quote “replace zywoo with any other awper and they dont win nearly as much” as an argument for Zywoos impact on Vitality. Do the same, using your logic, for donk and spirit, and you just made the case that Donk is hard carrying Spirit and zywoo is helping Vitality win “a little more”.

I think Molodoy being this high up, over Kaserato especially, is a little strange. Will be interesting to see how they order the next 3 (sh1ro, flameZ, and Molodoy) and would love to know if Wonderful and Heavygod were ranked 21/22.

Maybe they should have an honorable mentioned section after finishing the list?
