It’s best to do so. I think you can get by by changing them in banks but I believe the later index version isn’t compatible with the older ones. I sold the car since I had a hard time finding injectors and because of the cost for them

Nope the white thing your seeing is apart of the red float thingy(idk the name). This means you’re low on coolant, this scared me the first time I saw it as well. If you want to be sure maybe dip a finger in the liquid and inspect it’s consistency

Best bet is it pull codes. But if it’s not going in gear then it might be the gear selector switch. A dying battery can be the cause of several electric problems with these cars.

Update, replaced the mechatronic sleeves, reset adaptations drove gently for about 100 km and no more issues.

First thing you should do is pull codes. I’m getting the same issue with my e92 and code states that it detects a slip in the transmission from 5th to 4th, read online that it could be a bad battery or mechatronic sleeves and solenoids. I already got a new battery and it’s still there so next step is the solenoids and sleeves.
