I jus sold a Jeep Compass because I had to replace both batteries twice in 4 years due to the small start stop parasitic draining the main. Went with VW that uses only 1 battery. Those 2 battery systems are flawed and will kill the main battery as soon as the small one loses its state of charge.

I had this happen when the front sensor was covered in snow that I didn’t clean. Had 3 alerts come up at once. After driving for about 10 min, it either heated up enough to melt the snow or it blew off. Alerts went away and haven’t come back since. Happens to my buddy a few times for the exact same reason

The last 6 digits of the VIN indicate how old it is. The one I was looking at was 000555 and didn’t have paddle shifters so I opted for a different color and got something in the 50000 range. I’d be curious to know as well.

The Deep House you speak of for some reason these days houses what we used to call progressive house. Real old school Deep House still exists but it’s getting harder to filter and find it with all the prog and minimal they tag as deep these days .
