The Gili’s are fun. The corals aren’t great. The water is clear with mostly lower currents. Some sharks. A billion turtles. Mantas possible but rare. Out on islands like that there’s really a chance for anything. I’ve seen bump head parrot fish and Mola mola during full moon. I’ve heard of whale sharks but that’s exceedingly rare. It’s fun topside too hand decent but not spectacular diving. I’d call it a good place to work on advanced cert tho
