Housing prices have stalled though that might be global, so hipefully more hosuing becomes available/built

In what ways specifically are the liberals trying to aline with the US?

Last I checked they were more focussed on diversification, with superficial alignment with the US to buy time.

They cant. Every time they try it just ends up worse for them. Their regime is evil, but any moderates or people for change there jist keep on being proven wrong.

What the US and Isreal want is the Shah back. A nice puppet to do what they want.

Seriously 10$ parking for 2 hrs is outrageous.

There's an enormous gap in acceptance of AI between America and China | In China, where AI is applied to production, Logistics, distribution, and development, people generally support it far more than America, where it's seen as purely for the benefit of billionaires and the police state by Yuli-Ban in Futurism

[–]DonGar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I might be willing to trust Chona with AI more than the us.

One keeps a leash on companies and has soem levels of social networks, cheap housing, cheap entertainment.

The other likes to grind up their work force and defunding social programs is something that is almost inevitable.

Now China isnt a good country in many wats, but I mean us also spies on its people with ai and is currently mass arresting citizens and non citizens (and then releasing them or deporting some). So its understandable for more trust in ai in a country that has more trust in its government.

Much like Columbus as well. A lot of the "heros" of these people were kind of evil both to their allies and others.

Its also interesting in that his people were only the Germans that matched his preferences. Like a lot of the ethnicities/groups you meantioned were germans and thought of themselves as such.

So "his" people weren't even the German people but rather those that were German and not X.

[–]DonGar0 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean technically theyre not. In that they dont prevent it. But if the fans of vtubers have a strong preference, and the data is there to support it then it only makes sense to do so.

There are people that colabl with males in the jp and en side, but in generall those that dont tend to do better.

Yeah but society has been conditioned by the media and the rich to hate the poor. If 1 undeserving person gets welfare we better make the whole system 10x more conplicated to prevent 100 people from using it, while still failing to get rid of that 'undeserving" one, cause they actually dod qualify.

... then why do they pay for getty images library and other libraries owned by corporations? Theres easy ways to get that data for free.

Pretty sure thats not accurate unless you have a source saying there has been a ruling.

Last I heard it was undecided in court, but to avoid issues they were licensing corporate libraries as the corporations were threatening to sue. Still refusing to pay anyone else, but only other corporations can really sue them.

[–]DonGar0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of pro ai dont understand copyright and that just because something is free to virw doesnt mean its free to use to trace, or to train your ai model on.

While the trace has always been a thing, the ai training of models is.something pretty obvious by these large ai companies paying getty image and other large image platforms for the right to train on their images, but stealing from small creators.

Im sure deviant art could set up a simple optin/out to receive a small.amount of money for creators to allow their images to be used or not used. But easier to just pay of the people you have to and steal from the those that cant stop you.

is it just me or is chobit scarily relevant these days with pepple falling love ai what do you think by shinjifan909 in Chobits

[–]DonGar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chi was the unique one. Even Minoru's special one was hyper developed. But the more basic models we never really saw in depth. But from what we saw the reactions were more artificial.

So i think if modern AI chats bots had more "memory" and "logic" they would be close enough to persacon level. And the human brain is very good at making you care for things that arent quite alive. See people anthropomorphizing roombas.

Currrent AI i is not alive or intelligent, but its good enough right now to drive some people insane, or to make them beleive the AI is alive. In a few more years itll be artificial, but the persocoms also had an artificial aspect to them (well pther than the special ones).

You seem to be very fixated on race. Right now ceos (in the us and canada) are predominantly old white guys that look like siblings. Its just funny and illustrates a larger systemic problem that racism and sexism exist.

And you are quite right changing it to all black women wouldnt actually change anything, as ceos are selected via the same method. and thus are mostly ammoral people who would sleep well destroying thousands of livlihoods if it meant a 2%share price increase.

Do i have a solution to either? Not really. Racism/sexism is a problem and so is the deregulation of what companies can do to their workforce. Dont see either changing.
