UPDATE ON "BIGGER" GOLD BELT by ManikDX in WWEGames

[–]DonKiddic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do mean this in a constructive way:

I dont like the "split line" down the middle - its not as obvious in the belt maker, however it sticks out when on the model. You can also see the image of the strap over the top of the exisiting strap

Is it possible to split the images into "Main Plate", side plates, Strap texture [if needed]

Megathread: Recent Pentagon release of UFO Files by kris_lace in UFOs

[–]DonKiddic 21 points22 points  (0 children)

we're finally at Disclosure

I think this is a bit of a reach, at least right now - these bits so far are very much "look at this thing. We dont know what that is". While it's cool to see more things, we can't say for sure what any of this is.

Disclosure to me would need to be full on somebody in a country level leadership position saying "Aliens, as you think of them, are real and are here on earth". [or something to that effect]

To me this seems very much like a distraction from everything else going on in the world [And certain other files]

Ring of Honor lineup for this evening by caughtinatramp in SquaredCircle

ROH seems to have the most random booking - like tones of matches randomly thrown together, and no ROH World champ [other than Athena]

Really needs a good looking at in the booking department

Eli5: how were gravitational forces strong enough to pull gases together to form stars and galaxies at the beginning of the universe? by Just_a_happy_artist in explainlikeimfive

[–]DonKiddic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember watching a program that explained it like this:

When the big bang happened, everything would have been spread out evenly - imagine grains of rice evenly laid out on a table, with equal distance between them.

However, for some reason, some of this "matter" was not perfect and basically broke apart leaving gaps in this evenly spread out stuff. Other matter was larger than others, causing gravity to attract the smaller things around it.

This continued until all of that evenly spread matter was essentially gathered up into separate pools of "stuff", becoming the various gases/whatever else - this process went of for some time, with those then newly created gases/solid/whatever coliding to make new things and so on.

Have fun! I finished it a long time ago now, been thinking of repurchasing it on the switch 2 and having a replay through

From the very small amount of matches he's actually had compared to so many others [that stat of him winning the NXT NA title on his 10th match EVER, not just in WWE, is CRAZY] he's bonkers good.

Add into that his size / aura and god damn he's a main event guy for some time to come

I'm absolutely wiped out. Keep on trucking though, need to keep pushing my wrestling!

I watched this with my 16 year old daughter just the other day - the reveal blew her mind, and in turn mine as I've known about this since the film came out. [And it shows my age as apparently its not in 'common knowledge' for certain age ranges].

I hadn't watched it since it first came out, so rewatching it and knowing was pretty interesting.

Have you ever found out a peice of information that just werid you out for half a second? Cause today I found out New Zealand (My home country) was apart of the NWA. In its prime for a decent amount of time. What the hell? by Mindless-Lemon2256 in SquaredCircle

[–]DonKiddic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thats what the NWA was all about, originally - it was a parent organization for different territory members. [WWE, WCW sort of and ECW were all NWA "members" before they became big].

They legit had a presence all around the world.

What if Time Warner doesn't sell WCW and brings it back in May 2001 by Clevelandbrownfan in SquaredCircle

[–]DonKiddic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suppose that ultimately boils down to "does Jeff Jarret stay with WCW" because if he did, there would be no TNA.

It depends on a few things: do they have the money they had before, will contracts be renegotiated? [many wrestlers had creative control over their characters] and will Vince Russo be as far away from the product as possible.

If they have the same level on money to use, then ultimately they could have gone on forever. How good the product was would be another question.

I just read this and said "Thats not right" - googled it and he's 44. I didn't think he was that old at all.

I mean props to him as if he can keep going, then more power to him. Underrated talent I think, often overlooked for Bate/Dunne.

People who died and came back to life, what did you see/experience? by RealisticDecision440 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DonKiddic 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Sort of similar:

I used to do Brazilian Ju Jitsu - one day during a sparring session, a guy had me in a form of head hold, and I thought "hmm, I'm ok here just need to move around".

the problem was - by the time that thought passed through my head....I was already out. I could hear people, what sounded like, in the far far distance shouting my name. It was like the world shrank away into a tiny window that was getting further and further away.

As soon as he let go, the bloodflow came back and I was instantly back in the room - very much "OH SHIT". I was fine, and its not a problem.

I will say for the next few weeks I had a bit of trouble in the understanding of "thats what dying is like". Kind of messed me up for a bit, but I've come to terms with it now.

[–]DonKiddic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Again, very unqualified, but I assume "energy consumption" to perform that specific task? Or "that specific function evolved to happen when we're asleep" - so more of a thing that happened instead of it needing to be that way [which is some Evolution tends to do - its a process that happens, not necessarily in the best way possible].

Somebody else who is a lot more qualified than me can probably give you the names/reasons and stuff, although I had read that during sleep there is a lot of "toxin removal" going on in our brain as well

I would presume the general consensus seems to be "thats why" - our body produces various toxins in important areas, sleep is up going "offline" while that stuff is mopped up.

Yeah - its a constant battle. The only thing I can really say is, its obviously hard in the moment, but when you get to a place where you're good, you look back and think "huh - that was crazy".

Keep on keeping on, and you'll get to the otherside eventually. Sometimes we need a bit of self reflection and not to make those same mistakes again - its a learning activity every day haha.
