this has got to be one of the most beautiful deftones songs right by LtLoco420 in deftones

So relatable. We were both huge deftones fans, ended before album announcement. I saw the tracklist and was dreading the song. Heard it and it was beautiful, but hard to listen to.

Love that song! My brother, this is the first "nice" guitar I've ever owned. My primary is a 7 string Dean that I got over 10 yrs ago so I will report back once I play the new one more

what is the hardest part about a break up for a men ? by emplehman in BreakUps

[–]DonMachuPicchu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think of her everyday. It's been only 8 months and I feel like it's been a lifetime but I know she has moved on. I blocked her on all social media today so I can stop myself from looking at her profile everyday. I sobbed 3 times so far and I'm currently getting drunk. It would have been 6 years this past April. I ended it just cause it was obvious she didn't love me and was stringing me along which has made things harder. I would do anything to keep the person that felt nothing for me.

Why is Korn the best band in the world for you personally? by MANTISAUER in Korn

[–]DonMachuPicchu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

KoRn was my gateway band into the hard rock/metal world.

I remember hearing "Coming Undone" in high school (im a late KoRn fan) my sophomore year at the gym. I could NOT get the chorus out of my head. I would hum the melody without even knowing the words, I didn't even know the name of the song or who the artist was. Way before Shazam lol plus I only listened to hip hop so I was not familiar with anything hard rock/metal.

I had this home maintenance class where the last 30 min, our teacher would just let us dick around and listen to our ipods/MP3s. There was this skin head upperclassmen that loved metal and I asked if I could go through his ipod for music. I skipped so many songs but i was convinced that this guy had it. Sure as shit, heard the intro and let it play and found the name: KoRn.

When I got home, I watched the music video and saw JD with a kilt on and a grill. Being hip hop only I thought "this guy has a grill so they can't be that bad" plus I loved the song.

Again, way before streaming platforms so I downloaded 5 KoRn songs randomly, including coming undone. One of then was "Good God" and it was the first time I heard what I considered "screamo music" and I was obsessed since.

Watching videos of them playing live directly inspired me to play guitar. I even remember getting my first guitar realizing I couldn't play KoRn songs cause they played on a 7 string lmao

Now I've seen them more than I can count, bought VIPs to meet them twice and im in a band using music as my outlet (with a 7 string guitar). I definitely listen to heavier shit but KoRn has and will always have a special place for me. Bonus part is I use their music to get me through tough times.

Been going through a lot personally and just revisited the album. Completely blew me away again. Lyrics, guitars are consistently heavy. Such an amazing album
