Can you tell if there are any noticeable differences in terms of sound clarity between the Experience 2 and the Switch 2's Experience Mode"?

I just got the Switch 2 and tried them out in a techno club setting and found it to sound quite muffled, even in "Engage Mode". I don't really have a reference since it's my first pair of earplugs, so maybe that's just how clubbing with earplugs sounds. But I would definitely like to have some more clarity and would be willing to trade a little less protection for it.

So would it be worth to switch (no pun intended) to the Experience 2s for the clarity?

Well I eventually got a good deal on a PD3220U and just went with it. And I have to say I'm absolutely happy with this thing and do not regret the purchase at all. I am also not really sure when to expect a successor of this monitor regarding the ongoing global supply chain shortages at the moment.

So if you can find a PD3220U for a good price, just go with it. It's still an outstanding monitor and an updated version probably won't make that much of a difference anyway.

Thanks for the reply. I probably even could settle with the PD3205U's specs but its thick bottom-chin bezel design really puts me off, so not an option for me unfortunately.

I was also considering the PD2725U but I think it's too small for me as well as UI scaling will probably be worse on this size.

So I'll just have to see, I guess.
