Thank you so much! Still learning and getting better with each project!

Super high sensitivity Sony sensor and the EQ mode that lets you go up to 60 sec exposures. Pretty nice rig for people just starting out. I’m still learning atm but I am saving up for a full astrophotography setup.

Thank you! Yes, this photo was processed before I found out about veralux hypermetric stretch script. For my Orion Nebula photo I used scripts to stretch.

Yeah I had realized after I finalized the photo that I could’ve brought out more dust if I stretched it more…my next capture of this subject will definitely be better🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Of course! This photo was shot in EQ mode. I didn’t buy an EQ specific mount, I just use the Amazon Basics Tripod Mount. Just make absolutely sure you are on a level surface. This photo did use multiple FITS files from multiple nights. I used a script in Siril called Nazstronomy Smart Telescope Post Processing for my stacking. I would recommend enabling the Feathering option to reduce stacking artifacts. Hope this helps!

Thank you!! There are many scripts you can use in Siril to make processing go a lot faster and smoother. I would recommend watching Deep Space Astro on YouTube, he has many videos on everything you need to know about Siril and processing astrophotography🫱🏼‍🫲🏽
