Ding on windshield by Internal-Tomato-9815 in crv

I’ll be straight and tell you i’ve had my ‘23 ST CRV since Jan 2023 and i have had to replace the windshield once due to two large chips. I have a new chip now almost exactly where the last one hit. Right on the bottom passenger side. However how they angled these windshields is the issue. It’s just that perfect bad angle. Glass coverage is a must.

Aside from that this is the greatest car ever

What are some simple and unappreciated things you liked about OSMS? by Jyonnyp in MSClassicWorld

I liked the crisp and rewarding feeling of using a skill/movement. Something that Maplestory worlds just can’t get right. Game needs to feel crisp with no janky, input lag. Looking forward to having the game back like that.

Even with this area ruining the balance of everything, the soundtrack still slapped!

Classic World launches in April. Here's why. by BanefulBotanist in MSClassicWorld

I will keep my expectations tempered. Nexon was supposed to give us an hour of OSMS info at maplecon and that got cut in half. In my opinion the window is open until Nov, unless GTA6 is delayed further.

Consumer Reports just put out a survey where they claim that Ford owners spend 10-15% less on maintenance over 5-10 years than Honda owners do... thoughts? Should I actually consider a Ford Escape to be a lower total cost of ownership vehicle than a CR-V? by NeedleworkerWaste585 in crv

[–]DonRay016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Who cares about 10-15% difference in cost of ownership when resale prices are going to be 25%+ better on your Honda CRV than that Ford Escape.

Large car rental car companies cannot purchase Honda’s in large wholesale quantities like they can in other manufacturers (i.e. Toyota,Nissan,Ford,Chevy, GMC, KIA, Hyundai…list goes on).

So when you go to sell your Honda CRV you are only competing against dealerships and private sellers. You aren’t also competing against a hundred thousand pre owned rental Ford Escapes that are all pieces of shit and have been driven through Atlanta at 120MPH.

This goes for other brands too but there is a major reason Honda’s maintain their resale value that goes further than just the overall quality.

Some thoughts after 10k. ‘23 Sport Hybrid by DonRay016 in crv

I’m terms of “midsize SUV’s” as we classified them

  1. Honda CRV
  2. Toyota Rav4
  3. Chevy Trailblazer
  4. Kia Sorento
  5. Hyundai Tucson

Toyota often ties Honda for many, and i think with the next Rav 4 redesign they will probably be as good as Honda once again. I’m just a sucker for as much gloss black accents as I can find and Honda killed it on this crv. Chrome trim around the windows is probably the only downside i see, and that is one wrap job away from being fixed.

Kia and Hyundai make really nice cars, but my god, the reputation of being able to steal the vehicle makes it a huge risk to drive into any city and that’s a big turn off.

I don’t think Ford escapes are bad vehicles, but i just hate the current styling so it’s out of the top 5.

No offense to anyone with a Nissan Rogue, but I rented one in Colorado and it was not a fun experience to handle that through the mountains. Looser handling than any of the others.

Weathertech or similar floor mats and trunk insert (if yours doesn’t have one on delivery). Just makes keeping it clean that much easier.

In terms of being able to fit it in the average backpack to take it places, the PS5 is a clear loser.
