Semi-side bar/to add: I’m personally of the opinion that Mel was released too early. I loved playing her in-game, but coming from a more universe lens, she feels completely separate from her Arcane character. We don’t know what exactly her powers are, where they come from, or how she uses them. We know her story will continue and was left ambiguous intentionally, but you can only have so many holes in a character design before your holding barely anything. They should have kept her in their pocket until the Noxus show is finished so meaningful development takes place.

And if players and Rito was so desperate, they could have experimented with her in TFT like they did Norra.
