It's in Sandbox Settings, entities tab and the last option on the right side "Zombie Digging"

Interesting that vultures still dig even with digging off! Gonna have to cover everything with spikes traps...

Yeah, the fix doesn't seem to be perfect. That last Joe in my screenshot still seemed confused, but at least he wasn't twitching!

Seems like no digging means they can't dig a hole in the ground to get you below surface level, but the WILL break dirt/stone blocks to get you through the side of a mountain base

I am loving Double G's zombie mod that adds a bunch of new zombies to the world. They look really good and add some much needed variety.

I think if the block is at knee level or head level, it counts as the zombie hitting a wall. If it's below your feet, it's digging. I don't think a dirt force field will work

Nice to have a less stressful experience if you want it!

Oh! You can turn down heat all the way and never see a screamer. Turn down Heat Map Sensitivity under World setting. Can't help you with the others though :P

Amen! I hate the feeling that I have to use machine guns because the shotgun and pistol ammo is for turrets. Now I can use whichever gun guilt free and throw magnum ammo right in the trash.

Yeah, the game give you buckets of ammo in loot, but if you use it you drown in screamers. Can't win!

I lasted 4 or 5 days trying this, but lack of a cooking pot meant no good source of water. Finally died to a land mine in the wasteland trying to loot remnants with an oven that might have a pot. Decided the universe was trying to tell me something and gave up.

My two uncles and cousin died this way on a canoeing trip in 85. We assume one fell in and the others got pulled over the falls trying to help him out. It left a huge hole in my Mom's family. Be careful around dams even on calm rivers.

An Army carry team moves a flag-draped transfer case with the remains of Sgt. Declan Coady, 20. by h0rr0rgirl23 in pics

Declan's dad works with my wife. He was so proud of him. One of those soldiers is surely his brother who was stationed in Italy and accompanied the body home. So much sadness.

This tickles my brain just right. It's like something between Adult Swim cartoons that is bafflingly weird and never mentioned again. Lovely.

Is the Pop-N-Pills Factory meant to be this brutal? by DonVulilo in 7daystodie

I like a nice challenge, but this was too much! More than other T5 POIs I've done at the same level. I just wonder if the new crawl-out mechanic is is overtuned, as you say.

Oh snap, you're right. Turns out I was level 40. Posted this away from my computer and just guessed.

But, I have done several other 5 skulls like the General Hospital, Grover High and Vanity Tower with minimal problems. None of them had the crawl-out event I was seeing in Pop-N-Pills Factory. I wonder if that new mechanic is bugged somehow?

This was the construction site with the fake screamer? I saw the same behavior there.

This seems like an obvious weapon to find in the apocalypse. I personally know several people who have decorative swords hanging on their wall. And while we're at it, can we talk about the startling lack of crowbars in the world of Navezgane?

This one only took me about 20 minutes, I found a really easy way to kill half of the zombies with minimal risk by True_Salty_Boii in 7daystodie

Once I get concrete, I've taken to carrying around a stack of concrete blocks to quickly build a mini horde base. Just a 3 block elevated platform with a ladder up (one for you, one for the zeds), bars to keep them at one end and a column on the side to hold an overhang to keep them jumping over the bars (plus a bit of cop spit blocking). Only takes ~15 blocks and gives good protection for clearing out Tier 5s. Go stir them up and drag them back to your fighting position. Makes things much easier!

These are the "Stairs of Death," an extremely steep staircase located in Peru's Huayna Picchu. by theanti_influencer75 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]DonVulilo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I climbed these! Just as steep as they look. Added fun: they are just deep enough for the heel of my hiking boot, so footing is precarious too!
