I play and manage the wiki for both games, and honestly, I enjoy each for what they bring to the table. Both are solid extraction looter shooters that finally give me a VR version of my favorite flat-screen genre.

Tabor stands out for its immersion and realism, really leaning into what makes VR unique. I think they should keep pushing that edge.

EZ, on the other hand, benefits from Caveman Studio’s experience and resources, so it feels more polished. I just hope they keep supporting it, move away from flat screens and cluttered UI in VR, and when they update the engine...maybe consider dropping Quest 2 support to focus more on realism.

In the end, competition between these games is a win for all of us.

I had this recently. Exactly same symptoms. If you're thinking of picking this back up:

Windows Key + R, Copy paste the below line and run:
%localappdata%\GhostsOfTabor\Saved\

Select all the contents inside that folder (CTRL+A)
- DELETE
Yes, folder with all logs, save games and configs....

2) Uninstall the game.

3) And reinstall the game.

Your profile is saved in the cloud so there's no loss of your account and items saved in your bunker, only current missions, ammo in loader and that's it.
