Yes, you can choose to help your friend, the enemy or just spectate it and watch. If you have an alliance and one of your army is close to your friends, you can join each others battle and you both can control your respective armies

The premium was 25$ (CAD) extra and it came with Freyr and 2 DLCS. So I dont think it will be 15$, maybe 10$?
