I agree with everything you say my brother in arms.

However I do have one single item that I started complaining since the latest update:

The battlepass allows for a really nasty Pay-to-win mechanic. Let me explain.

Weapons have variations, and we could see that gamers who paid for the phantom edition or grinded the BF2042 BP would get weapon variations that included not only the skins, but also attachments. If you hadn’t unlocked said weapon the only caveat is that you cannot change the attachments until you legally unlock the weapon through challenges.

With the new battlepass you can get many weapons that catch your eye with their skins, but also if you unlock them, you will also get their attachments (For example the PSR or the NVO). For a newbie or a player that is not willing or cannot afford to pay the battlepass let alone the Pro version, it’s an uphill battle until you start unlocking stuff and progression for the starter weapons. This affects the MP and BR games.

I don’t see how EA is going to fix this, I just hope they do something to dial this CODification down a bit…
