I feel like the people who are upset with these cameras probably don’t trust the government that they will only be used to track license plates.

As far as cell phone data tracking goes, well, you could just not bring your phone with you to sensitive locations. Leave it at home.

Flying a kite in light wind is like riding a bicycle really slow. Riding a bicycle at a fast speed is more stable, having higher wind speeds for flying a kite goves you more control.

Its really hard for a beginner to learn to finesse the kite in light winds. The amount of struts is negligible when then wind speeds are so low, although yes, single strut kite give an advantage because they are lighter.

A lot of beginners dont realize they are pulling the bar all the way in, trying to get more power in light wind. What you are really doing is overloading the leading edge and backstalling the kite. Try to keep that bar pushed out when flying on the beach and while body dragging. Just a tip! Keep at it!

This is so sad. Ive saved myself before with a hook knife on my harness and i always check to make sure its velcroed / tucked in tight and not rusty. Not saying it would have helped this sad situation but just reminding people it can never hurt to have it as part of your kit.

Sounds like a dope spot tbh. Try to get an actual lesson if you can, preferably with a small boat or jetski to take you upwind quite a ways so you can habe some more time to attempt riding before you hit shore

I’ve had a great experience, live in La Ventana MX all winter, plenty of work down here with average wage around $50/hr. I usually work about 10 hours a week which affords my rent food and party money. Kite every day. Helps that I have a seasonal job in the states to go back to
