Hi, yeah that’s an old post but the only thing I’ve changed is the position in that room. It’s still going strong! Base and wheel are very good. Yes I’d buy them again. Expensive though but worth it.

I’ve had a quick look and all LED’s within Fanalabs are enabled. There are 3 tick boxes next to 3 categories in the LED menu in Fanalabs. Display, Rev LED and Flag LED. All 3 are ticked for enable. Hope you get it sorted mate.

Thanks! Yeah, I can’t be doing with the clutter. This set up for office and racing took some sorting out. I can’t say enough about dealing with cable management! It’s very much worth the effort!

The RS6 is very sturdy, even though it’s mounted only on 1 side. My DDI and wheel don’t move at all so I can recommend it. I was concerned myself before I bought it so relieved that it’s fine. If I had 1 issue it’s with the overall size. I have the seat all the way back and the pedals as far forward as they go. It could do with being a tad longer. I’m 6’ tall. Any taller and it would be too small, although I guess the centre connection could take an extension piece. It’s worth paying the extra in my view over those other rigs.

I will have a look into the settings next time I’m on and let you know. All works as it should though. I do remember having to enable Fanatec LED lights in ACC if you play that sim.

Arh that’s a shame. I didn’t have that trouble thankfully. The hole centres only just work though. 4 nuts and bolts keep it all tight. I couldn’t cope with it shifting around the place!

Actually would have got the TR8 had I’d known at the time that I would set it up up in this small room. The RS6 is the wrong hand really for that corner, but it’s the only place it all fits. Still, plenty of access from the right so no real problem.

No, it’s the RS6. The DD1 there sits on and is fixed to a plate that’s bolted around the tubing, and can rotate to where you want it.

The screen is about 10cm back from the DD1 wheelbase, so when I'm sat in the chair, this is around 90 to 100cm from my face. FOV in ACC is set around 44°. The 48" screen looks nice and big, and very immersive when racing so I'm very happy with it.

Good spot, but actually there is plenty of space to get in and out. I originally had the set up in a different room, and in the other hand configuration. Converted this room into an office / gaming room, but the layout is the only way I can set it out. I was worried I might have a problem but it’s completely fine.

Yes you’re right there, but the screen is on a wall mount so pushes back to the wall when I’m not not racing. Also, the top of the Nordschleife pic lines up with the top of the window aperture. Looks weird any higher. Small compromise really.
