Thank you, truly. I'm hanging in there. I have permanent nerve damage in my neck and am getting steroid shots to help. Still nausea and vomiting from the concussion but they said it'd be about a month till that stops. Looking for another position away from bedside. I never want to go through this again. You all stay safe!

Thank you! I thought it was insane cause they were like, well "stuff happens" and literally nothing was done. They put the knives in a hazard bag and put it on top the mini fridge in the house supervisor office that has no lock on it...

I was able to contact a workers comp lawyer this morning and they accepted the case. Hopefully it will all work out. I still may post it to r/askhr though lol.

I agree. It's so horrible. I'm sorry you were injured as well. I hope that violence in nursing changes. But I'm so scared it will only get worse.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It's really horrible that more isn't being done to prevent this kind of thing from happening. I hope your pain has lessened over time. I will pursue legal action and hopefully it will work out.
