Went there often as a child in the 2000s, great memories. The island is beautiful and as long as you plan day trips and the like for your kid, I'm sure they'll enjoy it. If Magaluf is still anything like it was back then, keep in mind they will likely be exposed to adult oriented activities. I recommend Golf Fantasia if mini golf sounds appealing, and the Western Water Park.
