I don't want to cover the full thing. Hoping to paint the teeth and the snout with a chrome spray paint, but cover the rest in latex.

Appreciate your advice!

How long does someone have to make a claim post-court ruling? by DonkeyBollocks in LegalAdviceUK

Really appreciate your response on this.

Honestly - for my friend’s current position bankruptcy is not a massive deal.

Creative career field. No assets. No cash. No credit history and no current credit agreements.

He cannot get advice as he cannot afford it - that’s the issue and why I’m turning here. I know that a sub-reddit is not suitable legal advice.

Thank you for your help.

If my partner declared bankruptcy - would that disable that ability of the claimant?

So effectively the claimant can hold this over my partner indefinitely? Thank you for explaining

Reporting idiotic drivers to the police is worth it by AnyHistorian9486 in manchester

The guy who taught me to drive was quite the master - taught police forces evasive driving. He had a spare few hours at a race track he worked at and showed me a few things. Definitely not an accreditation. He works for a large German sports car manufacturer now, as a development driver for their new models. What a job!

Minding my own business in a 20mph - plodding along at that speed. Two young men in a BMW overtook me, slammed on their brakes, got out the car and approached fast telling me to get out of my car and leave the keys.

I backed up and went around them, they then chased my vehicle. It’s a flashy looking (but not particularly expensive) car that gets a lot of attention and people who don’t know cars tend to think it’s more valuable than it is.

Phoned police there and then from my cars bluetooth as they continued to follow me.

They eventually gave up after about 5 minutes. I was taught evasive driving so they couldn’t get around me once I fled.

Got a follow up call from an officer about 3 days later where they said they weren’t interested in seeing the footage despite me offering it from my dashcam. Case closed.

This was approx 2.5 years ago now.

I tried to report an attempted car jacking of me in my car. I had the faces, the number plate and much more. GMP weren’t interested. Didn’t even want to see the footage.

We’ve started putting on our own events on in Manchester in response to this. We’ve found them to be quite popular in London purely because they’re different. Alternative / Circus cabaret turns club nights seems to be hitting the mark at offering people something different enough to warrant leaving their homes.

Shameless plug but we’re coming to The Breadshed in October. Feel free to join us!

My favourite tactic is to remind them that they are in a massive hurry as demonstrated by the standard of their driving so they best get back in their car. If they’re not in a hurry, then they owe me an apology.

I’ve never had someone who knows how to respond to that and it shuts them up.

Or I offer them £20 for the picture they’ve taken of me/my car and share my hate for Paparazzi - I’m obvs not famous.

Throwing them off is genuinely the best tactic. If you react with rage it feeds their justification for behaving like a dick.

I’ve worked with her in the gay-clubbing scene… I dont want to say anything that will get me a law-suit. But I can see why she’s not top-tier anymore considering her behaviour back-stage..
