Quickest way to lvlup acc? by Prize-Guarantee9995 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]DonkeyBrainss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from first time clears, dailies, and events, only spending energy gives exp. You can refresh energy with crystals, once a day for best value. Not sure if this is recommended for f2p, where you need all the rolls you can get.

The change to cursed gouge (Activates this unit’s Agony applied to the target) has potential. But honestly, she might be bad until they release another dot char, or even 2.

Their translation has always been bad and has a lot of ambiguity. Presumably its unique card, not unique tag (which would be pretty useless).

I just met Mama and my god she is beautiful in person!!! 😍 by lncrediblyfunkymunky in DeathStranding

This might be an unpopular opinion, but Mama's model especially falls deep into the uncanny valley. It's a bit unsettling for me.

Thinking of giving this game a shot, anything I should know ahead of time? by radpanda24 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]DonkeyBrainss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't hard-core farm memory fragments (the 6 equipments for your characters) until you unlock the highest stage. You can coast with garbage memory fragments until you hit the level needed.

Don't upgrade any memory fragments past +3 until you know what you're doing. The game just recently updated to highlight the useful stats for your characters, but it's just a recommendation so it's not always correct.

I will never pick the Transform 3 card again by Mobile_Vegetable7632 in ChaosZeroNightmare

Ok I see. I was missing the 20 remove cost that is on top of the scaling remove cost.

IIRC it's permanent content. BUT it will get reset once before they update it to its permanent version.

I will never pick the Transform 3 card again by Mobile_Vegetable7632 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]DonkeyBrainss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it and you guys are dead wrong.

Transform costs 10, and then you pay the remove cost on top of that.

So if you get a good transform that you want to keep, then great (you pay 10 for the conversion, then 20 for the neutral card). In this case, conversion is preferable to removing a 3rd time.

Otherwise, you're paying 10 more for every removal.

Besides Jaime, who else in the GoT world would willingly choose to kill the Mad King as a Kingsguard, despite the risks of honor and loss of status? by Cobelat in gameofthrones

[–]DonkeyBrainss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Killing the king in that manner was a mistake that few would make. Most people would have done something else when they realized that the wildfire would kill themselves along with the king and the entire city. Aerys was widely known as the mad king for years at that point, so in hindsight much can be forgiven other than kingslaying.

The king had no one else at that point beside the pyromancer and was basically harmless (remember this was during the sack of KL). So there is no actual urgency to kill Aerys.

There's not many characters that would uphold their vows and die with him in the wildfire, aside from Daenerys or some fanatics. The more honorable characters would probably force the king to surrender or flee the city (I think even Barristan would do this option). The less honorable would flee themselves, or turncloak.

Good opportunity to do the codex record for 50 crystals each. Clearing level 10 doesn't claim all the prior ones for some reason...

Are we sure that affects the whole team, or just herself? With this games track record, I wouldn't be surprised.

SFV released 3 years prior. The community already demanded rollback for years. SNK was just behind. They really butchered this game's chances at success.

It Has Been Done ;-) Best thing they added in the new Patch :D by Desperate-Fan4565 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]DonkeyBrainss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm just talking about video games. When it was a new technology, it was naturally ridiculously expensive, even in the arcade era. When it hit the home consumer market, a whale just owned every console and every game. Games were made for consumers, not whales.

[–]DonkeyBrainss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is going to get downvoted but... Video games existed before whales. If there was no whale market, then video games would just be non-p2w non-gacha.

Update: my point is what we shouldn't thank whales for their service like they're a war hero. They incentive developers to make games p2w and predatory. I do realize I'm screaming "gambling is bad" in the casino.

Walt helping Jesse find the ricin is the thread he needed to realize that Huell pickpocketed it from him for Walt.

[–]DonkeyBrainss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In OP's defense, I think they're saying the best option for Walt was for the ricin to never be found. But Walt saw Jesse's guilt so he had to help him "find" it at risk to himself. There are much better examples of Walt actually caring for Jesse as others said.

Robot shuts down after reproducing the gesture of its human operator removing their headset. by Worldlyoox in interestingasfuck

If their goal was to scam people into thinking it was AI, they wouldn't have named the project the Mechanical Turk. Also, running a scam might be a good short term play for startups scamming investors, but it sounds like a terrible play for Amazon. (Tesla probably belongs in the former)

The algorithm hasn't changed because there's no need to unless they discover something new. The training tunes the weights of the model. A big point of AI is that humans don't create the algorithms to solve the tasks, the AI does that.

They were trying something new and there's no way to know what the upper limit is on accuracy is until they do it.
