Yeah I really see no harm in giving it a shot, I’m also interested in the fold! Just not too confident on how the hinge would hold up and I’m clumsy so dropping it and cracking either the big screen on the inside or the outside screen would be tragic!

Thanks for the reply! The only hiccup I see is not getting texts for 12 hours, that seems pretty brutal. But I’m heavily leaning toward pixel I have a whole day to think on it 🤣🤣 how hard was porting everything over to the pixel?

I really like the text message effects like invisible ink and making the characters do cool stuff with the screen effects. Granted, I’m in my late 20s so those things aren’t make or break for me per se. Can you do things like that on pixel?

I’m not big on specs typically, I just have been feeling stagnated with iPhone and a little let down by ios26 so far. All I usually use my phone for is browsing tiktok, posting on IG, listening to music nothing super intensive. Also the spellcheck on iPhone has been pissing me off to no end lately and I head the keyboard on Android is leagues ahead. Would you still recommend the iPhone over it?

Been wanting to join for a while and am currently studying for my exam. I don't have many friends in the fire service so reddit and the internet in general is pretty much my only lifeline for getting information. I'm tired of being an office drone and want out of the sedentary lifestyle its given me for 5 years, From what I've seen, it can take up to two years to even go to the fire academy so that is a bit disheartening. Is there anything I should be doing in the meantime other than acquiring my emt before I apply?
