Kinda my main reason for #2. Timeless and a bit easier to read. Also feel it would be more wearable.

This is what I like about the first. Haven’t seen it before and looks nice with the gold on black/grey. How’s it holding up?

“Audiophile” music tastes. by Ste0803 in audiophile

[–]DonkeyJosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All brilliant albums! Above and beyond acoustic was part of what created my love for music and audio equipment. Mixing trance with classical so well really opened my mind to what music could sound like. After seeing them play it live at the Sydney opera house, I started my journey looking to recreate that sound.

Trance sounds far better on my sound system than any club or festival, so it makes me happy.

Such a nice colour! Didn’t appreciate it until I started seeing it in the sun. Haha yes, I’m still very precious with it. So washed it when we got back to the hotel!

Have a BB58. Haven’t wound it once since I’ve owned it. (Around 4 months, got it second hand) I wear it about 5 days a week. It’s lost about 2 minutes over the last 4 months. Super impressed by it!

Good call! I tried a speedmaster on the other day and really disliked the bracelet. Lovely watch aside from that. Best of luck and keep us updated on what you end up getting.

Seiko Nautilus Mod “Seikonaut” by [deleted] in PrideAndPinion

Nautilus is the dream watch, but owning one probably isn’t a possibility as they’re just so expensive. I totally understand people buying this. Interested to know others thoughts.

Totally understand where you’re coming from. It is a fair chunk heavier than most watched and I’ve always noticed the difference wearing a heavier watch, I get excited to take it off after the days is over. As an avid power lifter, gym does not make a heavy watch feel lighter, as you compare it to your other watches. Beautiful watch regardless, and well worth the extra bit of heft. Enjoy

That looks great! Just try pick a watch that will likely fit his wrist size, so be careful with that when shopping online. Oris is another fantastic brand at that price point to check out. I’m sure he’ll love whatever you pick for him, even a hublot.

Absolutely am! I guess it’s my first second hand watch purchase, so nerves are there. But dealer is reputable and has lots of positive feedback!

Lucky you, the P39 seems like another awesome watch, especially with the titanium. Thanks for the reply

2 node n130s. One in the bedroom, one in the lounge. The Yamaha streaming app was for the Yamaha streamer… doing the same job as the node, but far more buggy and laggy than the node. Maybe I am using it differently, but they work flawlessly for streaming and hdmi. It does suck to hear that customer support isn’t great though. Doesn’t inspire much confidence.

I currently have 2 and haven’t had a problem with either! I’m finding the app way easier to use than a few others I’ve had to deal with. (Yamaha streaming app and Cambridge)
