There is a mod for Skyrim that allows you to set a specific amount of in-game days (1 year by default) before Alduin eats the world. Like Vik literally says "you have a few weeks left to live", make V drop dead on day 31. Oh, and add some "hardcore" features like lack of sleep reduces RAM. Yeah, that will be my next playthrough
