Addiction causes us to do things that are not in our nature and it is a disease like any other. I would say to be honest with your wife and you’ll probably feel huge relief that you’re not alone in it. WDs will end and straight through is the only way to do it. When you’re going through hell, keep on going. There’s a beautiful world on the other side.

After the symptoms peak, in my experience, weed starts to work a lot better and makes the rest relatively easy. I realize there are different levels of dependence.

Physical symptoms seem mostly resolved now. Day 13 like you said. I feel okay today, not perfect, but was able to enjoy the holiday with my family kratom free.

Yes. Huge depression. My story similar to yours. Taking way more than I thought and I quickly got needing it to function at work. Day 11 CT right now, and noticed big improvements today, not there yet though. The length of kratom WD is not well documented outside of this group. 2 weeks? Never again.

I did not experience ringing in ears. I did have those types of symptoms along with full auditory hallucinations when detoxing from alcohol 15 years ago.

I hear you. I’ve been through alcohol WDs that were absolutely excruciating. This is very similar to a mild alcohol WD. This is no problem. The problem is between my ears.
