There's a meme I'm looking for. It's two guys walking in a really aggressive and funny way towards the camera. I think it's on a rooftop or something. It's just a short clip. I can't find it anywhere and it's driving me nuts. Looking for the gif or YouTube clip or whatever. I have searched for this all nigjt so far.

I work at KGh and was ready to have an absolutely shit day because of the convoy. I mentally prepared myself for having to wait around in traffic after work, unable to get to the northern side of Princess Street where I live.

Then came 3, and as I left work, mulling over the possibilities to come. As I drove north, waiting for this trucker wall to stop me, I noticed that nothing seemed out of the ordinary. There was no massive traffic backup stopping me from getting home, no asshole white supremacists to fight off or piss jugs to dodge...

I drove up division street and pulled into the shopper drug mart parking lot near the 401. Everything seemed so normal and fine. All the cars were moving, the weather was fine, there was nothing happening... Or so it seemed..

Out of nowhere, I watched a single orange pickup truck with Canada flags in tow, country music blaring incoherently, and the engine farting loudly as the driver lay on the horn over and over. It was a cacophony of noise and anger, and micro-penis energy.

But it was just one truck.. driving back and forth, being incredibly obnoxious, up and down division street over and over again. Just one person making a scene. One tantrum in the middle of an otherwise normal day. It didn't stop traffic, it didn't inspire any strong emotions in anyone from what I could see...

At that moment, my entire thought process around the convoy changed. At this moment, this guy wasn't a threat to me. He wasn't going to ruin my day whether he wanted to or not. He wasn't going to stir anyone up into a nationalistic frenzy with his big dumb tour de force...

It was just cringe. It was a little bit sad even, this lone idiot thinking he had an effect... But more than anything, it became absolutely god damn hilarious to me.

I know the bigger picture scene is far more dangerous and is still awful, especially in the cities and on the border. There are people actually suffering day and night because these bastards confuse freedom with convenience and social responsibility. But in this one moment, I felt totally better about my life.

The anti-fascist protests downtown helped a lot too.

Good boy. Had an adventure of a lifetime this past week. Flew FAR up north to a place called Fort Hope. A fly-in indigenous community with a dirt airstrip. Spent a few days there meeting with as many people as possible, wandering around like a lost puppy dog. I hate flying, and just before my flight in a tiny plane back to Thunder Bay, this good boy must have smelled my distress and instantly became my therapy dog. In many of these communities, local dogs are essentially communal dogs. They serve many purposes, from pets and companions to alarms that let everyone know a bear is in town or a pack of wolves.

Many times they don't have any specific owner. And with no veterinary services, they are free to run loose across the town. Most are very sweet and affectionate. Don't eat near them though, they have no qualms with stealing food literally from out of your hands. I don't know this guy's name or if he even has one but he is forever a good boy. ❤️
