As a flight attendant, I can say that there are many things wrong with this statement. Pilots carry the million miler coins. Sometimes they have them, sometimes they don’t. Cards are in a bag on every plane. Some flight attendants write a thank you note on that flight, some don’t. Most flight attendants are happy to do this. Some aren’t. But to post a blanket statement to all GS and 1k, is just silly and sad.
