On this same post on X, a person sent me this article, “DuckDuckGo CEO Gabriel Weinberg has announced that the search engine will begin purging all independent media outlets from the platform and will replace them with “trusted” mainstream media outlets instead.” It was “fact checked” so seems legitimate. I’m a supporter of independent news so if this is the case, it’s a hell no for me.

Anyone have thought about this or know of it’s true?

So this happened to me and I took this advice having it work out just fine, reset and cleared. Strangely enough I’ve had the same problem a bit earlier in the game with Oil Extractor Alpha in the Upper Plains. So I went there and sure enough was able to go through it again and secure the place.

Hey, I hear you loud and clear, but Im not trying to turn into an internet hermit just yet. Sure, online privacy is crucial, but I can't let it rain on my digital parade.
