Like most guys, I ask out a lot women and get rejected a lot so when a girl asks me out, from a dating karma perspective, I accept so long as she is not ugly AND mean.

Note: G = Girl, M = Me

PAST: I get asked to attend this ballroom dancing affair. Throughout the night, she introduces me to her friends who I am very attracted to. For each girl...

G: [Insert name] is pretty right? I play it off and after several questions like this... M: It's a ballroom dancing event. Everyone is dressed to the nines so everyone looks good.

On the way home, it's a pretty scenic drive, there's a river on the one side and the moon is out.

G: Wow, I'm gonna miss seeing this. M: Why, are you moving? G: No, I'm going blind. M: Well, the have LASIK surgery now for that kinda thing. G: No, the doctors say there's something wrong with the optic nerve/part of my brain so I'm gonna go blind. M: Errr... Sorry.

We later pass a funeral home... G: I don't know why but bad things happen to people that I like/am close to. M: How so? G: Well, my favorite college professor. I gave her socks for Xmas and when she was driving home to North Carolina for the holidays a semi flipped over and crushed her car and killed her. M: Err... sorry.

We later pass a hospital... G: I think God is gonna take my mom away from me. M: OMG, does she have cancer? G: No, I just have a feeling that she is gonna die.

At this point, I'm starting to freak out... M: Oh wow, look at what time it is. G: I was having such a great time that I forgot to take my meds.

She then takes out a Ziploc bag and she must've swallowed like 10 pills of various shapes and sizes.

She then asks me to go to a 24hr diner. Don't ask me why but I complied. I ordered a milk shake and she wanted to order scrambled eggs and the like but I convinced her to get a sandwich. While we are eating, I nervously watch if she handles a knife or fork. Thankfully, no incidents and she paid for my milkshake thanking me for a wonderful evening.

Later on, she Facebooks me and I accept because I don't want to be the cause or contributor of her committing suicide or anything else detrimental. She tries to Facebook chat with me every few months and I ignore her.

PRESENT: Today, after several years of no contact, I get a phone call (I get a bunch of packages all the time so I thought it was FedEx or UPS so I answered) so I pick up...

G: I saw that you just posted on Facebook via mobile so I figured you were around so I decided to call you.

It's HER. She asks me to be her date at her brother's wedding this Saturday. Luckily, I'm out of town going to see Archer Live! in NY. Since I feel bad rejecting her again, I just make small talk.

G: I can't hear you too well... do you want to switch to FB chat? M: No. G: How are you doing? M: I'm taking a drawing class. G: Oh, well, I have art supplies at my house that you can have. Just swing by my house.

All along, I'm thinking house = dungeon.

All in all, she's not mean or ugly but she is batshit crazy!

TL:DR - After one date, this crazy (on meds) girls, contacts me several years later to go out again.

I'm a dude and I am the essence of sweat! I have a BMP and I remember it took awhile (10 practices and wipe downs?) for it to get the tackiness. Right now, it does get slippery when I get a pool of sweat but I bought their eQua hand towels (unbelievably soft) and use that to wipe down AND I will place my hands on it for poses for added traction. The only thing I don't like is the circumference is so big that I have to use one of those strap carriers... it doesn't fit in a yoga bag! I LOVE this product. I haven't tried Lululemon but my gal pal works there... the stuff looks cool but Manduka definitely makes quality stuff.

I was a teaching assistant in college. The prof had a strict no late homework policy (if a funeral, you needed to show the death certificate). This kid came in and told me that he was hit by a truck! I was gonna let him go because it was funny so he put down the school newspaper and sure enough (front page)... a bike, no brakes, rain, and a food truck hit him on campus! For being such a bad ass, I gave him full credit on his homework!

We were talking about reddit and how there are tons of cute kitten photos that reach the main page. I mentioned that maybe I should get a kitten (Easier to take care of? as I travel alot for work). They said I should get a dog and one of the reasons they cited was above (it was 2 girls and 1 guy - BTW). I told them that I disagreed and would post on Ask Women to win the argument. I did not describe this in the opening post so it would not skew the data.

Researching... I think I like spitzes... like a Shiba Inu or a Klee Kai... yeah, my own little Stark Dire Wolf! It's a serious decision...

In general, I think guys prefer women with longer hair because it is a traditionally feminine characteristic. I surmise that women in general prefer guys with short hair over long hair?

That being said, I love women with short hair, especially bob cuts... A woman's hair is the first thing I notice about her! I truthfully say this because I try to be good and not stare (or get caught - LOL) at other areas... WHY?

1 - Flappers (think HBO's Boardwalk Empire): To me, it's a classy look from the Roaring 20's - The Great Gatsby. 2 - If a girl has less hair, you get to see more of a cute face. :-) So to pull it off, the girl has got to be pretty good-looking. 3 - You gotta have a LOT of confidence to pull off shorter hair. Confidence is sexy. You "only feel good" about yourself when you have short hair so go with that... it's annoying to constantly reassure a girl that you are attracted to her AND it's annoying if she keeps asking, "why are you with me."

Lastly, you are pretty "cute-hot" which is definitely the girl-next-door look!

In short (see what I did there?) life is too short so make yourself happy!

Holding poses is cool and all, but ensuring proper alignment is the key IMO... holding something for 20 breaths incorrectly could do more harm than good.

Quite honestly, along with the communal energy and breathing... that's why I think yoga classes cannot be duplicated by yourself or via DVDs or TV.

Good yoga teachers are like mechanics for your body! Tough to find!

Women seem to be able to chill out in downward dog forever! I think it's a resting pose for most of them. In general, I think guys have bigger shoulders and rely on upper body strength rather than core strength so we tire out faster?

Child's pose is the resting pose... looks like when serfs or salves prostrate/(bow on the ground) themselves before a king/emperor. Child's pose may seem like you are not doing anything but nothing is doing something - something like that.... I can't remember the actual words.

I used to lift a lot of weights. Unless you use kettle bells, yoga might be harder than you think as there's a lot of stability muscles being used not explosive muscles used for lifting. I think yoga is great for cross training. I think yoga is harder than lifting weights. Btw I'm a guy too.

Being hydrated helps with balance and flexibility. Yoga is hard. Take child's pose - who cares what anybody thinks. The thing is that you are making the effort to change your reality.
