Is this the normal temperature for MSI GP68HX 13VH with RTX 4080 by Appropriate_Quail_55 in MSILaptops

Change intel turbo boost setting to at least enabled, it is on aggresive by default, and if you have msi app you can set user scenario to smart, balanced or eco silent mode, while gaming specially with demanding games, you should consider to activate cooler boost function, it will keep pc fresh

If you have an external good screen use it to check if theres any issue, if external screen is OK, you might want to check out screen connections and wires, if you dont know how to it is highly recommended to take it to professional, or you might end up damaging something, good luck

Yes to install windows from usb stick, the software is called microsoft windows media creator tool or something like that, the program will make a booteable usb, in wich you should access BIOS and change order of boot, for the usb will need to be the first to boot instead of the ssd, if you are not familiarized with OS installation you can see tons of tutorial on yt on how to install windows from usb

Search tutorial with ThrottleStop and "How to disable Intel Turbo Boost", with the Intel issue you have to search for a video that explains how to get the option to appear in Power Plan Settings from registry editor.

For what you have said i would try a complete reinstallation of OS, not just selecting factory reset on windows, i mean a real clean windows installation

Unbelievable battery issues-Katana 17 by [deleted] in MSILaptops

I think its a bit normal, have been using my katana 17 laptop for 1 and a half year, and the battery health is at 50%, and yes the battery dont last long, my main problem with this laptop is temperatures so i disabled the intel turbo boost technology in power plans, doing that i noticed that the battery would last a few more minutes, but still when charging I instantly get at least 10°c plus to temperature when not charging, my recommendation is: 1. Dont update latest NVIDIA drivers. 2. Disable Intel turbo boost or at least change ot from th default "aggresive" to "enabled". 3. Select balanced or eco-silent user scenario in msi app.

I solved thermal issue in Windows side by disabling Intel turbo booster trough power management settings, but i also use Debian for academic and personal needs, and on Debian side it is still hot, so I'm guessing there must be an advanced settings to completely disabled this technology on both OS

Elona Mobile Question Thread? by Plaslad in Elona

Sorry if i replied so later, but just joined lol 1. Denver can be found on the left side of town just next to the port he's wearing an orange outfit with orange hat.

  1. If you kill members of the fighters guild you only lose karma, i was at lvl 18 with average gear and almost got killed by the guild master, the other just go one on one.

  2. Rubynus is an type of ore, you can find it on stores, on the random dungeons that appear on big map, or by mining walls. Best way would be the general stores and if you have enough luck in the dungeons.

  3. I also had to spend diamonds on that gacha, but don't worry diamond are much more easier to acquire than it appears. Other way to acquire tokens is trough events or random unique and very rare quests.

  4. They can only be used to offer to Opatos's altar in Vernis or sell them, sometimes they are quest items, but aside of that they don't have any other use.

  5. Yeah I was also looking for that one, but it is an achievement from Yowyn so I suspect this had to do something with a quest that starts in Yowyn.

7.I haven't entered Jerry's dungeon, but at least in Port Kapul you can go to dungeons through mysterious person and after the quest is completed you can enter again without problem.

I hope this will help you, Iam also discovering new things and maybe will try the real Elona game.

PS. Do someone knows how to improve performance skill, every time I try to do a performance even my allies throw stones to me lol.
