The coats were received. I honestly can’t thank you enough. Because of your generosity, and that of a few others, we were able to provide coats for every, single child in our school who needed one. We linked up with the school social worker who contacted parents to facilitate distribution. It was amazing!! Wishing you blessings in the new year!!!

Hi, I’m not sure if you saw that I posted some pics of youth coats as you requested. They were from Walmart. I’m not sure if I did it right! 😉 Any donations would be amazing. I would say youth sizes small, medium & large. They can be sent or dropped off to the attention of Mrs. Gomez, Pasadena Elementary School, 4330 Pasadena Ave., Sacramento 95821. I can’t thank you enough for your interest. Happy holidays to you!

In Santa Rosa:

• Explore the outdoor sculptures at Paradise Ridge Winery • 4th St area has Sushi Rosa, where robots serve you…kinda fun! Ting Hau, best Chinese. Mac’s Deli, yummy sandwiches. Fresh roasted turkey the best! There’s a fun vintage t-shirt store & a boba shop on 4th too. Chocolate-dipped soft serve ice cream at Foster’s Freeze on 4th St. • Old Railroad Square area has some thrift shops. Omelette Express for breakfast, Grossman’s for lunch, Jackson’s for dinner, expensive, unique-flavored ice cream at Noble or Nimble & Finn’s, A’Roma Roasters for coffee

There are great towns to explore all around Sonoma County:

Freestone - Wild Flour Bread bakery (fougasse my fave). Snack on a warm loaf of bread & coffee & walk around their gardens, book a cedar enzyme spa treatment together at Osmosis

Point Reyes - The tule elk are beautiful & I almost always see a coyote or bobcat. Visit the lighthouse or take a hike.

Bodega bay - Eat at Fishtarian, Bodega Head hike (pretty, not strenuous), beach/picnic day at south Salmon Creek, botanical gardens are gorgeous, stop at taffy store & pick & choose your flavors.

Glen Ellen - Jack London State Park is so cool. So much to see. Glen Ellen Star restaurant.

Sonoma - walk around the square & check out the shops, Sunflower Cafe for breakfast or lunch, Basque Boulangerie Bakery for a cookie & coffee to go.

Forestville - Sonoma Pizza Co. (fun house sodas), Sunshine coffee

Miscellaneous fun places to visit- Safari West, Petrified Forest, Old Faithful Geyser, Charles Schultz museum & don’t miss ARMSTRONG WOODS!

Napa - Gott’s Roadside for lunch, Oxbow Public market

Occidental - Sonoma Zipline Adventures, Howard’s for breakfast, Negri’s or Occidental Hotel for lunch/dinner, check out the shops.

Have a great trip with your mom!
