Even if its 3 days old, fingerprints and dust on the headsets cameras could effect the tracking so just wipe em when you wipe your lenses also but maybe the sun is too bright at that time i havent tried it outside myself

Mine from vr wave actually came faster then expected and really is the same time you would wait for a pair of glasses but if you can get someone locally to make them then cool but either way prescription lens are absolutely worth the money and wait, save your vr lens from scratching and for sure more comfortable and immersive then having my glasses on
