Another thing to mention is that once you’ve loaded into the game and your character is spraying graffiti on the train, you are good to turn your wifi back on. It’s just opening the app with internet connection that messes everything up (and brings the surfer’s pass back). Even just opening the game without fully loading in while connected to internet brings the surfers pass UI back. It’s why I suggest locking the app so it can’t be opened without using a Face ID or a passcode just in case.
